Recently I have the honor to be part of Liz and Billy’s wedding celebration. The wedding was beautiful; and this lovely couple smiled from the moment their wedding day started until their very last dance. It was an unforgettable evening. Not to mention that Liz and Billy are generous, kind and amazingly great couple.
Both from New York, they chose to have an intimate celebration with their closest family and friends at the Beckwith Pointe Club in New Rochelle, NY.
Their color story was soft pink and white, which was use for their linens, floral, stationary and even lighting. I really was impressed with the floral décor for the tables, the arrangements were filled with mixed blooms of white hydrangeas, pink, ivory and white roses and white dendrobium orchids. Small votive candles were placed around the arrangement to create a magical ambiance for the event
Liz’s gown was gorgeous, a design from Galina Signature collection. The gown was strapless with little pink floral details and studded Swarovski crystals on the bodice and waist, she really looked amazing. Her bouquet was beautiful too, filled with lush pink roses, white roses and crystals to add the blink factor.
The handsome groom wore a custom made gray suit by Kenneth Cole with a soft pink tie to complement their theme color.
One of the highlights of the evening was when the groom’s brother made a toast in honor of the wedding couple, giving them some words of wisdom, made a few jokes and event made a few people drop some tears of joy during his speech.
Guest, were delighted during the cocktail hour with heavy horsdoeuvre, martinis, wine and sparkling champagne. During the dinner hour a four course meal was served to all guests.
The wedding cake was beautiful and so yummy. A three tier red velvet wedding cake filled with a soft cream cheese frosting.
As darkness settled in, happiness filled the room as guests continued to dance, laugh, and enjoy each other's company.
